3D-Printed Hovercraft

I got inspired to build a Hovercraft last year after reading an article about them. Since then, I've been studying the topic and decided to build one for myself. This is my second prototype: it now features control over the thrust motor, eliminating the need for rudders. For the design, I used Autodesk Inventor 2013, while the MakerBot Replicator handled the printing duties. The base remains unprinted due to its extensive print time requirements. I opted for Styrofoam instead, which offers an added safety feature: it can float if the engines fail. Additionally, I didn't print the bicycle tubes, as they need to be flexible and made in one piece to prevent air from escaping to the sides.
