3D Printed Glasses

3D Printed Glasses

This project, featuring customizable frames for glasses and sunglasses, was created by Rachel Sprecher, Lars Zihlmann, Mathias Graf (students at BZL Langenthal in Switzerland), and Industrial Designer Alex Götschi. The design process proved challenging due to the absence of a freeform license in NX; however, I contributed renderings. With a 3D printer and common designing software, individuals can now produce personalized frames for sunglasses rather than purchasing generic options. However, it's essential to consider insurance coverage for corrective glasses when attempting this DIY approach. For more information or questions, reach out to the project owners directly.
