At the World Maker Faire in New York, we showcased these LED-eyed ghost necklace pendants on October 1-2, 2016. They quickly became a hit with kids at the event, who enjoyed choosing from multiple colors for both printed ghosts and LEDs. Even adults wanted to create their own version. Unfortunately, our supply of ghost necklaces ran out before everyone could get one, so we made the design files open-source to let people make them at home. Here are the STLs and print profiles I used to create the ghost necklace. You can print the ghost part with glow-in-the-dark or translucent PLA filament. The electrical circuit is printed using Electrifi Conductive Filament developed by Multi3D (https://www.multi3dllc.com/product/electrifi-filament-sample/). To assemble the circuit, attach it to the back of the ghost using double-sided tape. Then, use a soldering iron to smush the Electrifi into the LED contacts and complete the circuit. Let it cool before inserting the coin cell battery - this project takes just 20 minutes to finish!
