3D printed full size makerbot

The RepRap isn't the sole self-replicating 3D printer; Makerbots can do it too. This Makerbot comprises approximately 150 individual pieces, all printed on a Makerbot itself. My Makerbot worked tirelessly for about a month to complete this project, and I am incredibly satisfied with the outcome. Additional pictures are available at the bottom of the page, though they don't do justice to its beauty. I have also included a zip file containing all STL- and MAX-files. To assemble the Makerbot, print each piece, glue together the individual faces (left, right, front, top, bottom, middle, back, and power cover), and then construct the makerbot as you would with a regular wooden model. I needed to remove a little under a quarter inch from the right side of the acrylic z-stage for smooth movement due to heavy hot glue usage.
