3D Printed Fan-Powered Car
thingiverse
Students designed a 3D printed car capable of being powered by an attachable battery-powered fan. The goal of this project was to create a vehicle that runs on alternative energy sources. As students worked on the design, they gained hands-on experience with various forms of energy involved in the car's operation. These included the kinetic energy supplied by the attached battery, heat loss through electrical circuits, work done by the electric motor, rotational energy generated by the fan propeller, work performed by the propeller as it moved, frictional losses incurred while the car was in motion, and mechanical energy transferred during the car's movement.
