3D Printed Face Shield w/ Ultralight Optics Headlight Mount, Closed Top
thingiverse
This is a custom adaptation of HanochH's original design. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4233193 Unlike most versions, it utilizes a curved cross-section to keep the transparency sheet secure, rather than relying on hole punches for ventilation. My modifications included: (1) Closing the top section to ensure proper fit and prevent any potential droplet leaks that may not meet local hospital requirements. (2) Adding a mount for ultralight optics' LED headlight and cable clips along the left side of the frame, which prints upside down. (3) Incorporating rafts at the earpieces to prevent them from peeling off during printing. Additionally, I added a small raft to the LED mount to ensure secure attachment. For users who prefer to print without rafts, it's recommended to skip this step and use flush cutting shears or scissors to remove excess material. This remix includes various permutations: with and without Ultralight Optics (ULO) mounts, with and without rafts, and closed and open tops. The open top with no rafts is excluded as it resembles the original design by HanochH, which can be found on his Thingiverse listing. Please note that this custom design is provided free of charge for community use and testing. It has not been certified, licensed, verified, or endorsed by HanochH or any other authority. I take no responsibility for its safety or performance. Use at your own discretion and risk.
