3D Printed Face Shield w/ Ultralight Optics Headlight Mount, Closed Top
thingiverse
This is a remix of HanochH's design. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4233193 Unlike most, it uses a bowed cross section to retain the transparency sheet, not hole punches. My changes were: (1) close the top. you lose the ventilation with a closed top, but local hospitals may not accept Hanoch's open top because may allow some droplets to down downward. (2) added a mount for ultralight optics' LED headlight, and cable clips along the left side of the frame. (it prints upside down, FYI) (3) add rafts at the earpieces to prevent peeling off the bed. I also added a small raft to the LED mount, as the tiny initial part can peel off. If you can do a successful print without a raft, then don't use them...it adds a small amount of time clipping off the rafts with flush cutting shears or scissors. I included most of the permutations: with and without the Ultralight Optics (ULO) mount, with and without rafts, and with closed and open tops. The open top with no rafts isn't included because that's basically the original design from Hanoch--go to his listing for that.
