I'm an extremely introverted exhibitionist who can only accept limited forms of approval. This version of my new mesh prints assembled, and is joinable to other prints via the previous mesh I posted here (or through a tedious process with a hot knife). The previous mesh is a bit tedious to assemble but using it as joining links works amazingly well. I'll post some different length dumbbells so that people can make non-flat meshes without having to use threaded posts. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3130780 It's extremely strong, and yet drapes and handles nicely. One thing that I tried and am pleased with is that rather than just a socket, I've made a slot for the dumbbell joining bars, this allows for about 4mm of travel in and out, making this much softer and more fabric-like. I'll post some images of it draped over non-flat surfaces soon. Here's a YouTube video: https://youtu.be/LpFVf1TjPeo
