3D printed fabric / armour

After checking out the NASA printable fabric/armour, I realized mine wasn't so bad after all! Ha! I've updated it, and here's the latest version - this new one also prints assembled, saving a ton of fiddly time. It makes me wish my second extruder was working, so I could print the joining bars in a different color. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3149980 The version below works great as joining links for the one above. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3130780 Update to the update! I've redone this and will be releasing a new version that's fully practical to use, either as a fabric or an armature (skin locked) or blended (some joints locked, others free). Click on the follow me button (not here, but at https://www.thingiverse.com/drewrt/about) to get notified when it comes out! Update! After seeing how much this kind of thing interests the Thingiverse community, I've decided to update the design. This was an experiment to try creating a multipart skin that prints assembled. It worked, but I find the dumbbells pop out of their sockets too easily. Here's a link to a short YouTube video of me handling it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xokLdBDalMI I hope to upload a new version that will be much easier to print and assemble. Please like this one, and follow my account for updates!
