3D Printed Exoskeleton Hands

I built some 3D printed exoskeleton hands just for kicks. If you're interested, check out a video of it in action at www.3DPrintIt.com.au. READ THE MANUAL BEFORE PRINTING by clicking here. The hand was designed with ABS plastic, and the more infill used, the stronger the hand will be, but the longer it'll take to print. The entire hand takes around 18 hours to complete and costs about $8 in plastic (at 4 cents a gram). I printed all parts on my Up Plus 2 using a 14cm x 15cm x 15cm build volume. You'll also need some metal screws to hold the printed parts together. I used sheet metal self-tapper pan screws, 8G x 9mm. ***Disclaimer - 3D Print It won't be liable for personal injury resulting from careless use of this product.
