3D printed electric scooter
thingiverse
In this project, a normal scooter is going to be transformed into an electric scooter using 3D printed parts. It is necessary to manufacture two 3mm thick stainless steel sheets to reinforce the chassis and withstand the efforts. For this project, a 24v and 250w motor has been used with its electric speed controller and a 25H type chain drive with a 66-tooth pinion coupled to the scooter wheel by means of a 3D printing part. This design is valid only for the scooter that you see in the attached images and that I bought at Lidl. For another type of scooter, the design would have to be modified. If you have a scooter at home and want to make it electric, for about 125€ it can be done. The brake with shoe that the scooter had was used to adapt it to the 3D printing chassis. Step model is attached to see how the assembly is. https://youtu.be/DI51oyYwCd0 BOM: - Scooter with large wheels - MY1025 24V DC Electric Motor 250W 2750RPM - 25.2v 6000mAh lithium battery - 3 units M6 limit screw, Diam. 8 x 80mm - Chain sprocket 25H / 66T - Chain 25H 158 links - 24v 250w motor electric controller - Laser cut sheet e = 3mm Stainless steel - Bolts to nuts - PLA filament 1 kg
