Machine CNC with support for Dremel and pencil. The movement is made through calibrated rods of 10mm in the Y axis, and 12mm rods in the X and Z axes. To this end, we will use linear bearings LM10UU and LM12UU that will give us the necessary precision for our machine. The size of the base is 500 x 500mm, of which approximately 300x300mm are usable. To move the group, we will use 4 step motors Nema 17 (17hs4401), which will turn 4 shafts of 8 mm, moving the cars of the different axes. In the electronic part, we will use an Arduino UNO with A4988 controllers and a 12v power supply (in my case, I have used an old PC power supply). Shopping list (Materials): - Board DM 500x500x16mm (Attached plane with necessary drillings) - Calibrated rod 10mm: 4x500mm (We will cut to adjust) - Calibrated rod 12mm: 3x500mm (We will cut to adjust) - 4 rigid couplers 5x8mm (Important that they are rigid, flexible ones lose precision) - 8 Linear Bearings LM10UU - 8 Linear Bearings LM12UU - 4 Trapezoidal Shafts 8mm (The same as a 3D printer) - 6 Bearings 688zz - 4 Step motors Nema 17 17hs8401 - Arduino UNO R3 - CNC Shield V3 Expansion Board - 4 Drivers A4988 - 40x40 Fan 12v - M3 and M6 assorted hardware. - Dremel tool, either original or Chinese. - Wiring - Lots of Filament... To protect and cool the Arduino board, I have used a case designed by "nagilum" that also incorporates a coupling for a 40x40mm fan. The STL file is attached with the CNC.
