Leonardo da Vinci conceived the cryptex, and I've devised my own take on it here. This version has been 3D printed using a Zortrax M200 with high-performance Z-Ultrat material. Breaking it down reveals 11 distinct pieces that are actually quite simple to assemble. The idea behind this project is to craft a compact safe that can store encrypted messages securely. If the scale doesn't suit your needs, just let me know and I'll design a larger version for you.
