We come together today to bid a final farewell to the humble Altoids mint tin, a stalwart companion to countless small part collections and electronics projects over the years. Its "curiously strong" reputation proved no match for the ingenuity of 3D printing technology, which has rendered it obsolete. We lay its remains to rest; earth to earth, ashes to ashes, dust to dust. The top and bottom pieces fit together seamlessly, requiring no supporting structures. The tin itself nestles inside, held in place by nothing more than a dash of whimsy and a hint of April Fools' Day mischief.
