So, it turns out you can 3D print RIGHT ON CLOTHING! THAT'S REALLY COOL! Hello #PRINTERNETS! I made this Gryffindor logo shirt by reworking the model done by Imminentfate. After a bunch of trial and error, I've worked out the process! First, start with three initial layers at the very least. Next, use low heat settings. Then, reduce the layer height to less than 0.25. Use Avery Label Sheets (available at www.avery.com) for this project. Cut out a sheet of paper that matches the size of your build plate exactly. Place the sheet on the back side of the cloth. Make sure it's flat by clipping down the cloth, with the sheet facing downwards, on all four corners. Now, re-level your build plate so that the nozzle just touches the cloth. I'm not entirely sure how well this will hold up to a washing machine, so consider using fabric glue for extra protection. As always, check out my latest build video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P7F7GVWip18! See you next time!
