3D Printed Clock with Servo Drive
thingiverse
I wanted the original clock to run longer, so I added a servo motor drive. The modified servo contains just the original motor with any end stops removed. To power it, I used a USB adapter and buck converter to provide low voltage to the motor. I then trimmed it down to input the minimum power required to keep the clock running continuously. You can view a video of the clock in action here: https://youtu.be/4cyn8qr24GI It took many hours and discarded prints before I finally found a solution that worked smoothly.
