The vision of this project revolves around empowering individuals to manufacture straightforward electronics by themselves -- especially for Open Source Hardware designs -- with minimal equipment required: a 3D printer or its equivalent, the individual's own hands, and basic electronic components such as capacitors, motors, transistors, and the like. However, the long-term aim extends further into complex applications involving integrated circuits, microcontrollers, and other sophisticated parts. Rather than relying on conventional methods of soldering wires to breadboards or using etched printed circuit boards (PCBs), OpenSCAD crafts a custom peg-board PCB and component holder. By combining these elements with conductive thread, intricate circuits can be hand-assembled with precision. This approach offers a new standard for creating electronic devices, making it suitable even for those without extensive electronics experience. As the project continues to evolve, it is envisioned that this innovative method will serve as an alternative to conventional etched PCBs for most everyday applications -- including projects involving basic circuit designs and components.
