Support us by visiting our Etsy shop at http://etsy.me/16o3ZGE to buy a 3D printed LED desk lamp! Our project aims to enable personal manufacturing of simple electronics using a 3D printer, hands or basic high-tech components like capacitors and motors. Instead of traditional soldering techniques, OpenSCAD generates a peg-board PCB and component holder for hand-winding circuits with conductive thread. Replace conventional etched PCBs with this code base, initially designed for simple applications. Find detailed instructions on Instructables (http://www.instructables.com/id/3D-Printed-Circuit-Boards-for-solder-free-printab/) as part of the Make-It-Real Challenge. To use, download the .scad file and include it in your OpenSCAD file. Use MCAD library (https://github.com/elmom/MCAD) and arrange components in grids of 'get_component_distance()'. Print parts without raft or support. Alternatively, place components free-hand. The primary feature set includes power components, component holders, and trace connectors. Contribute to the project at https://github.com/CarryTheWhat/3D-PCB or visit our Etsy store for more info.
