Human: Print Your Own Unique 3D Printed Christmas Tree Get ready to have fun printing, building, and showcasing your own custom 3D printed Christmas tree. This exciting project consists of 17 individual parts that snap together like a giant jigsaw puzzle, giving you the freedom to choose any color or level of detail for each piece. Since you'll be printing the tree yourself, you can experiment with different print settings, but I'll share my experience to get you started. First, the Stem pieces: I printed these using 0.22 layer height, perimeter shells 2 and 3, and solid bottom and top layers, and they turned out great. For the base, you can print it separately from the star and baubles, but it's crucial to include infill, which was 5% for me, but you can adjust this setting based on your preference. Without infill, the stem parts might be delicate, so handle them with care. Print the branch pieces upside down using the same settings as the stems. If you haven't printed the star and other baubles yet, now's the time! You can use similar print settings as the branches and stems, but consider adding 5% infill for extra strength. All 17 Tree parts are included in STL format, ready to import into a Slicer program. The approximate finished tree size is 30cm high, but feel free to print larger or smaller versions - just keep in mind the tolerances and adjustments needed. I recommend printing two of the smaller stem pieces and the smallest branch piece first to test how well they join together. To get started, make sure you have your own 3D printer capable of printing segments up to 14.9cm x 14.1cm wide (Bauble_00) and 9.6cm tall (Stem_00). I only printed with 1.75mm PLA, so if you use different materials or filament thickness, adjust your settings accordingly. Print as many trees as you like for personal use only.
