So I Needed a Compact Enclosure for My Project, and Here's How I Converted an Old Acer Aspire One into an Octoprint Linux Server. I Disassembled My Trusty but Defective Acer Aspire One 532h-2db (Just the Processor Board) to Create a Custom Linux Server. Note: This Is Version 2.0 of the Project, Which Includes Some Significant Improvements Over the First Version That Featured a Plexiglass Lid with a Carbon Fiber Sticker. To Get Started, You'll Need: Four M4 Bolts for Securely Fastening the Components Together, as Well as Glue, a Soldering Iron, and a Trusty Screwdriver to Handle Any Tight Spaces. If You Don't Have the Original Laptop Case, Be Sure to Pick Up Some M2 or M3 Bolts (Depending on Your Acer Model) to Safely Mount the Motherboard Inside the Custom Enclosure. To Print Out the Necessary Components: One Complete Case That Will House All of Your Octoprint Hardware One Lid for the Top of the Case, Which Provides Easy Access to the Server's Controls Two Stands to Hold the Case at a Comfortable Viewing Height Seven Standoffs to Securely Mount the Motherboard Inside the Case One Button to Activate and Deactivate the Server as Needed One Camera Case (Optional) to Capture High-Quality Images of Your Prints
