Here are a few notes to keep in mind before starting this project. First and foremost, be aware of local laws and regulations when operating this device. Always use proper safety equipment like goggles and gloves to avoid any possible harm to yourself or others nearby. Before starting your build process make sure you have everything on the required parts list: a hot glue gun (5 cents) from Home Depot, DC Motor Stepper, and micro motor. Ensure these items match exactly as stated above so your assembly does not turn out subpar. Once these materials are gathered carefully disassemble each piece down into its raw materials for inspection. Now, on with the assembly process: * The base is comprised of an Aluminum extrusion (2 inches wide and 1 inch tall) from Amazon which we'll refer to as "the extruder." Attach both side pieces onto either end via some form of adhesion. Be careful because excessive torque could strip your screws! * Locate any remaining gaps or cracks around the assembly after these two have been properly bonded. Then apply liberal amounts of glue while applying a moderate level of force, just enough so they become rigid structures instead allowing any loose bits floating within. Now onto motor attachments: - First identify where it fits into "The Base". Carefully locate one hole for the DC Motor and mount in place by threading bolts until tight enough but leave enough wiggle room since excessive pressure may harm internal wiring. This prevents over torque which risks maiming electrical connections leading further potential malfunction down line due solely preventable neglect prior assembly stage. Mount Stepper Motors accordingly onto each other with careful thought toward even spacing between these assemblies. Secure firmly once more making sure any stray threads were fully pushed through respective ports - no visible signs remaining! Now install any cables attached underneath keeping clear route of electrical current running cleanly uninterrupted flow necessary proper system performance throughout use conditions expected operating temperature limits adhered. Here's where everything becomes functional!
