3D Printed Belt Sander / Grinder

I designed this belt sander so that anyone with a print area of at least 23 × 23 cm can print it. It will fit to different sanding belts widths and lengths: 25x762 30x750 30x800 (don’t fit on a 23x23cm print bed) 40x760 50x760 (don’t fit on a 23x23cm print bed) Please make sure you have the right sanding belt before starting printing. If you want to learn more about it, I also made a YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lteEJBMQHdg (Yes the video is in German, but I made subtitles for English and French people) Or if you have any question ask in the comments. Many motor sizes fit in this machine, up to 48 mm diameter. The length does not matter. If you want to use a larger one, up to 62 mm diameter, the tensioning mechanism for the belt will not hold as well. But it's not that problematic, because if you use the right belt length, you don't need a tensioning mechanism. I added the steps files, so if you want to make some modifications, now you can! Needed is: - ball-bearing: 6x 8x22x7 mm - threaded M8 rod: - 25x752 mm ~ 60 | 90 | 85 mm - 30x750 mm ~ 65 | 95 | 90 mm - 40x760 mm ~ 75 | 105 | 100 mm - 30x800 mm ~ 65 | 95 | 90 mm - 50x800 mm ~ 85 | 115 | 110 mm - 20t GT2 pulley - a 244 mm GT2 belt - obviously the sanding belt -Screws: - 16x M3 15 mm - 11x M3 10 mm - 6x M4 10 mm - 2x M4 15 mm - 2x M6 70 mm - 2 screws for the motor - Nuts: - 11x M3 - 6x M4 - 2x M6 - 7x M8 - a 3 mm * the width of your sanding belt * 120 mm thin wooden plate - a 10x15 mm switch -Some PLA to print the Parts: - 30x750 mm ~ 510 g - 25x752 mm ~ 460 g - 40x760 mm ~ 540 g - 30x800 mm ~ 540 g - 50x800 mm ~ 610 g - a power supply which fits to your Motor Links to some parts I used*: The motor: https://ebay.us/vNzoQ0 The switch: https://ebay.us/GGHPU1 The belt: https://ebay.us/oDSNsE Nuts and screws: https://ebay.us/zOdkLo 20t GT2 pulley: https://ebay.us/CEDvi5 Ball-bearing: https://ebay.us/yVGSim the filament I use: https://ebay.us/BRWsXY Links with * are affiliate links.
