3D Printed Anet Enclosure
thingiverse
This was a personal project I undertook to explore the feasibility of creating an enclosure that maintains constant air temperature, which is crucial for working with advanced printing materials. The nuts, bolts, and washers are ISO M6 & M4 in size, while the rod measures ISO M6. It was designed specifically to accommodate 3mm extruded Acrylic sheeting; however, you can use thicker sheets by simply using longer bolts if needed. The air vents' size and shape can be tailored to your preference, and whether or not to incorporate a fan is entirely up to you. Additionally, I made modifications to the generic store-bought cable chain to enable it to fit seamlessly along the X-axis motor mount and linear rail system without requiring any drastic changes. To achieve this, simply remove the end two bracket pieces and attach the rest of the chain to my 3D printed brackets – as you can see, it works beautifully in confined spaces. I also included the printer settings I used for these prints for your convenience.
