The original design incorporates a shackle and ball bearings from a broken Abus 72/40, now featuring an option to 3D print those parts instead. They come in two halves that need to be glued together. If printing with ABS, you can weld them together using acetone. The current design requires six springs to function properly. Springs can be sourced from cheap clicky pens. Print all parts without support, except for the Body & Key, which require supports touching the buildplate only. Turning on coasting reduces z-scar on parts. All parts can be printed at 20% infill, except for the key, top and bottom retainer plates, shackle, and ball bearings, which should be printed at 100% infill instead. Optionally, pins and pall can be printed at 100% to increase wear resistance. Find me on Reddit (u/LethalogicaX) if you have questions, comments, or suggestions. Feel free to remix this design and improve it! Current Issues: - The Body has some round overhands that are difficult to support and will not print properly without support. You can still print it without support but there's some post-processing involved to clean up the first few layers of the overhang. - The Key requires precise tolerances in order to move the pins correctly. Supports tend to leave some junk on the bottoms of the bitting surfaces that require post-processing in order to get a smooth operation.
