This horn accommodates a NEMA 17 shaft (5.45mm thick on the flat), designed to push against a surface at 101.97mm from the motor axis. This distance corresponds to 1m/9.80665m/s², Earth's gravity. To measure torque, place a balance under the horn and have the motor turn against it while fixed in place. Optimize speed and microstepping for minimal vibration due to skipped steps. The weight displayed on the balance equals the motor's torque in Nm (in a NEMA 17 stepper context, this is equivalent to torque in Nmm).
