3D PRINTABLE OxyGEN Respirator structure / Re-Design of Protofy project
thingiverse
Hello! Given the alarming situation of respirator shortages and potential hospital collapses in response to the sars-covid-19 emergency, I have joined forces with this project. The goal of this redesign or voluntary contribution is to adapt some parts of the outstanding OxyGEN project (Protofy.xyz) so that they can be printed on home-based maker-style printers with a maximum bed size of 200x200. - Some thicknesses and geometries were reduced, while new inserts were created to divide large pieces and minimize printing time. - I eliminated unnecessary parts like hinges by combining their functions. - The rest of the mechanical components and necessary elements remain the same as in the original project: https://www.oxygen.protofy.xyz/?lang=en - Unfortunately, I haven't had the means or time yet to test it and validate its effectiveness. - I hope that you can contribute this small piece and congratulate all those who are trying to help during this challenging moment, just like the original creators of this project. PLEASE VISIT THE ORIGINAL PROJECT and compare: https://github.com/ProtofyTeam/OxyGEN/tree/master/3DFiles/v1.0, feel free to modify. Regards! Facundo Mehrbald - Along with colleagues engineers, technicians, and specialists in the 3D field from Puerto Madryn, Argentina.
