3D Printable Modular Sound Bar / Center Speaker

I have experimented with 3D printed speakers before, designing a Two Way Tube Speaker and a 2 Way Orb Speaker. Recently, I discovered affordable 2 inch full range speakers on eBay, which sparked an idea for the 3D Printable Modular Sound Bar/Center Speaker. I ordered ten units at around 25 Aussie dollars each, including shipping, and began working on the design. This is the result of my efforts. Each speaker has its own custom enclosure that attaches to the next one using three small screws. Depending on the type of speaker chosen, different fascias can be used. One allows for mounting the speaker at the front of the fascia, while another enables it to be placed between the fascia and the enclosure. The fascia is secured to the enclosure with four small screws. I printed my sound bar using red PLA for the enclosures and black for the fascias and sides, creating a visually appealing combination. This design allows users to combine any number of speakers to create their own custom sound bar. I used ten units and connected them in series-parallel to achieve an impedance of around 4 ohms. My sound bar measures 72cm wide, giving it a sleek appearance. To configure the system, speakers can be combined in various ways. Two or three units can be paired together, with one placed on its side to create left/right and surround speakers. Alternatively, individual speakers can be connected directly to an amplifier using a drilled hole. For added flexibility, an amplifier can be integrated into the sound bar itself. To print the enclosures, users should be able to do so without support materials. I used a resolution of 0.2mm and a speed of 6cm/sec to achieve smooth results. However, if adding an amplifier is desired, supports will be necessary for printing the brackets. **This project requires experience with soldering and electronics to complete successfully.
