This is a shock absorber model that I have made to be printed on the Stratasys J750 for the Make It Real challenge.Materials• VeroYellow• VeroCyan• VeroBlackPlusPost Processing• Remove any of the support materialsThis model has been created as part of a larger project of mine. This project is the design, develop and build a race/sports car. This model is part of the front suspension assembly. The reason for 3D printing especially for development is that areas of the vehicle like the suspension can cost a lot of money and 3D printing something even if it is not in any specific colours or materials can be a cheaper method of iterative design. In the future when I am in the build stage of the project, I will be able to on the go print any of my design concepts and test them in the real world and see if it fits before spending large amounts of money to manufacture items.
