3D printable mini rotary air engine
grabcad
This is a smaller, safer and easier to assemble and run version of the engine in the video. It runs best with a low viscosity oil in the air supply. M2 screws and nuts hold the cover on the housing. A single M2 screw threads into the shaft through the housing, acting as a second bearing support. It should be a friction fit with the shaft, and a running fit with the housing. Additionally a single 625 bearing is pressed into the cover. The teeth on the rotor and housing must be indexed properly otherwise the engine will lock up and not spin.Printed with a Prusa I3 MK3S in PLA on 0.15mm Quality preset
