This versatile pull-knob for cabinet drawers is simple to create using 3D printing technology and attach securely to any flat surface with a standard M4 screw that's widely available. The knob can be positioned directly on a flat surface or installed in a recessed area of a 14 mm hole. A cone-shaped design allows the option of gluing instead of screwing for added stability. The bore in this knob is engineered to be slightly smaller than 4 mm when printed, making it possible to use a standard M4 screw without requiring a nut or pre-tapping the hole beforehand. We recommend using longer screws for optimal thread-grip and maximum security. This project started with an old pharmacy counter from 1906 on the verge of being discarded as scrap metal. To preserve its original integrity, we salvaged it by creating new knobs through 3D printing in thick layers using brown PLA filament, rather than manufacturing them on a lathe.
