3D Printable Bike Brake
thingiverse
Need a spare bike brake? Instead of buying one, try printing it! Right now, only the left side (front brake) is available, but let me know if you need a reversed version. This design is inspired by an online brake assembly. For better printing, place the brake lever flat on your build plate and no support is needed. If you want to reduce flexing when pulling the brake lever, try the updated model with strengthening rib feature in the connector part. Print both parts with 80% infill. The new model allows you to print the lever on its side for optimal layer orientation. To print the connector, ensure the face of the handlebar mount is flat on your build plate and it fits a 0.875" diameter handle bar. Secure the M3 x 16 bolt with two embedded M3 square nuts during printing to keep it in place when installed on your bike.
