This isn't really a remix, but more of an addon to Jabberwock's Star Wars X-wing: 3-D asteroid bases. I liked those bases but didn't have ready access to lava rocks, plus I wanted something that matched the shape of the bases when viewed from above, so I modeled these. Each asteroid has two files, one is just the straight export, and the oriented one is what meshmixer spit out as the best orientation for support material purposes. I recommend using the oriented version with supports and a raft or brim. After printing these and Jabberwock's bases, I then covered the asteroids in PVA glue (also known as school glue) and play sand to give them a more rocky texture. Then I primed them with a zenithal method and used some thin paints of various colors to give them some diversity.
