Commissioned by Ryan Wilkins, I am publishing this with his kind permission. Drawing inspiration from the swords wielded by Toudou Kirin in The Asterisk War, I set out to create an authentic replica - one that is true to the source material and rich in detail. As someone not well-versed in the anime itself, I drew upon numerous references and sources, working closely with Ryan to ensure our end result was both precise and faithful to the original design. This 3D model includes several variations of the sword and sheath - each piece can be printed independently or as part of a larger assembly, much like a puzzle, allowing for maximum versatility. The overall length of this magnificent replica comes in at about 1.1 meters - broken down into five distinct sections to ensure ease of printing and minimize stress on your 3D printer's hardware. For added stability, I have designed in support rods with a 4mm diameter that can be bent using simple tools or, if not readily available, shaped by hand into the required radius of approximately 6000mm. When handling steel components, particularly these curved rods used for added structural integrity, do familiarize yourself with any applicable local laws governing weapons replicas and conventions where you intend to display them. This knowledge will safeguard both you and your creation from any unforeseen repercussions.
