3D Printable 1/2 Width Langstroth Bee Box

This is just a concept of a 3D printable half-size Langstroth bee box that's meant for actual use. You should be able to print this thing with a 30cm x 30cm x 30cm printer without any support structures. You can cut the standard 415 x 195mm beeswax base in half and sandwich it between the frame to complete the frame. This design has bee space of 9.5mm - same as standard Langstroth for Apis Mellifera. The box is vertically stackable. The box with holes features replaceable gate units: - 4.2mm gate (worker-bees-only gate) - 7mm gate (queen-departable gate) - ventilation gate (print with no top/bottom solid layer) - handle (to lift up) Screw the gates in place with M6 screws. You'll need a tap handle and a screw. Bees prefer wood boxes, so why not use wood PLA? A 0.8mm nozzle is recommended.
