3D Print "Vitus"
thingiverse
I have long been fascinated by the design of the Walker Vitus. When I came across a highly impressive project on this site, I decided to create my own version of "Vitus" tailored specifically to my equipment. This is why I want to express my gratitude for allowing me to build upon this concept as the foundation for my project. I utilized the 123D Design program to bring it to life. Equipment: - APM Mini + GPS + Sonar - motors 2216 / 810kv - ESC 30A - propellers 9443, 3-blade Carbon Folding Propeller 9445 (for Phantom 2) - FPV Tx - OSD Mini - 5200 mAh 4s - 2 axis gimbal - cam Firefly Q6 The weight of the aircraft without a battery is 930 grams with the camera. Flight time with a 5200mAh 4s battery is approximately 21 minutes. The design also accommodates a 6200mAh 4s battery, although I have not yet tested it. The project remains open and I will continue to make adjustments in 123D Design as I continue to learn. I possess a 3D printer with dimensions of 300 x 300 x 400 mm. All components should fit within a 200x200 area, with the exception of the cabin, which can be split for smaller printers. The cabin is printed using PLA material. Unfortunately, I do not have footage from my flight to share. However, I invite you to visit my YouTube channel for additional content. 1) https://youtu.be/5iZ_ttTT5bk 2) https://youtu.be/BqOu63_pQc8 3) https://youtu.be/lauvQ1LEWf 4) https://youtu.be/I9dAhD9i6i8 Flying footage can be viewed here: https://youtu.be/jXe7R9EgVS0 Thank you for your time.
