I designed a modified locking bracelet for the University of Kentucky's Engineer's Day Open House, held on February 28, 2015. The prototype handed out from my lab featured the UK logo, while this one proudly displays the words "3D PRINT STRONG". This design truly lives up to its name, as it demonstrates remarkable strength despite being printed in PLA with a mere two layers of thickness. The tiny interlocking circles are incredibly resilient and can hold substantial weights without giving way: just look at the photo showcasing the fish scale test, which confirms that the bracelet remains securely locked even under an astonishing 21 pounds of force.
