3D Polish Embroidery

This project focused on exploring organic forms through Polish folklore culture and connecting traditional embroidery with 3D printing technology. After sketching ideas and studying various designs, selected patterns were translated to Rhino software for modeling. Illustrator was used for outlining, and dxf files were imported to generate the patterns. Incorporating Moiré illusion concepts, specific angle constructions were mapped onto the embroidery design. The final 3D print in PLA material was preferred due to its resemblance to threads in layers.
