3D Perspective Illusion Generator(ish)
thingiverse
Create perspective illusions using two SVG images in OpenSCAD. Use Inkscape to convert the images into DXF format and adjust their placement and size. Modify the openSCAD file to match your image filenames, then output shape1() and shape2(). Fine-tune the translation, scale factors, and angle of the illusion() module until satisfied. Export the final model in STL format, but note that clean-up may be necessary using another 3D program for a more impressive result. Two example output files are provided, with some manual cleaning done in Blender. Source SVG images are available on Wikipedia for the Rebel Alliance vs Galactic Empire illusion.
