3D part scraping tool/ putty knife
thingiverse
This is a versatile scraping and lifting tool designed for effortlessly removing 3D printed parts from hot beds. When sharpened to perfection, it doubles as a reliable utility knife. To produce optimal results, print this tool vertically with a 10 mm width brim or raft. Cut the inserting part of the blade to precise dimensions using an angle grinder (refer to the third image for detailed measurements). Next, insert the blade into the handle and drill holes through it for added stability. Secure the blade firmly in place by employing M3 nuts and bolts. One of the key benefits of this tool is its flexibility – you can shape the blade to any desired form using an angle grinder, as long as you maintain the specified dimensions for the inserting part of the blade (visible in the third image). For my own project, I utilized a substantial 0.5 mm thickness stainless steel putty knife, expertly cutting it into the desired shape with an angle grinder.
