3d Paper Organizer for Remote Learning

Hello, I am Al, and I am the creator of this organizer. I really designed this organizer with students in mind. I tried to incorporate some ideas that, I thought, would be pretty handy, like a phone bin, and a place for pencils and a water bottle. I tried to make this as user as friendly as possible, without losing some of its usefulness at the same time. Some issues that I came up against were the hinges. The hinges, you see, were made only to be used in one size, and making them longer, would distort the hinge. So, I had to improvise, by making a specially made axle, that would fit in all sizes. Another problem was making the pencil bin. I had to try a few times before getting the exact size that I had wanted, because the program I used, did not let me see too close to the middle. If I could redesign the model, I would probably change how far the phone bin extends, and how far back the cup holder is, since it would probably be a hassle to reach back there, just to get your drink! To be clear, the cylinder is the cup holder, the wedge is for pencils, and the bin on the side is the phone bin. The hinges would be printed separately from the base, which are the red parts. The model was made on the work plane of the Makerbot Replicator 2. 3d printing this design would probably make this design stronger by allowing me to see flaws and correct them, flaws that I may couldn’t have seen with Tinkercad’s software. It would help the design be better, and would allow me to see how the design can fit books and papers.
