This visual model displays view orientations and axis directions for 3D models, with dimensions including datum planes measuring 50mm in length and arrow tips at approximately 85.25mm. PTC users will find "saved views" in the 3D model defined as follows: frt (front/vorne/back/hinten), top/oben, bottom/untens, dr (side right/rechtssdl) and left/links. Syntax for datum planes extends across six views, while the right-hand rule aids rotation about axes. The "frt" orientation aligns with the perpendicular view on a hanging drawing sheet. Uploaded 3D data includes STEP and PTC Creo Parametric 2.0 formats. This model aims to simplify understanding of view orientations and axis definitions in 3D modeling, especially for newcomers. Suggestions for improvement are welcome, as is the use of the provided (.xls) file for a foldable paper model. In-file designations: V (front), H (back), O (top), U (bottom), R (right), L (left). Datum planes exhibit axis directions.
