What it is: This model showcases a 3D rendition of the NASA logo, where the iconic "swoosh" element is detached and suspended in mid-air. Although this design necessitates printing with support material unless carefully oriented to minimize the number of supports on the base, I believe its free-hanging aspect effectively conveys movement into the skies, aligning with the original symbolism of wings and aeronautics represented by the red element. I created this 3D model in Fusion 360, referencing a 2D image of the logo as a starting point. While it's possible to paint this model, I would recommend priming it first and then applying fast-drying acrylic paints in multiple coats to achieve an even color.
