"Whimsy of Origin" is a work that caught the judges' attention, leading to its selection as a winning piece at the JJA2015 Japan Jewellery Award's top-tier ceremony. As my Monkeys series hits its milestone, marking 366 days in development using computer-aided design techniques, it proudly earns special recognition. Born and raised in Kagawa prefecture, famous for its bountiful olive harvests, is where I reside on the picturesque Shodoshima Island. Visitors can easily picture children frolicking carefree amidst nature. With an assortment of captivating poses, my 3D monkey designs continue to emerge throughout this series, each with its unique charm. Humans and monkeys share striking similarities, a notion I aim to highlight in my artistry. A tender gesture as the Quruli holds the necklace around the pendant made from the monkey's tail symbolizes this poignant moment of connection.
