"Monsters of Beginnings," my masterwork that garnered a prestigious place in awards for its exceptional jewelry design in the JJA2015 (Japan Jewellery Award 2015) contest. My iconic Monkeys series - created over the span of 366 days with CAD expertise - has finally reached a major milestone. The enchanting Shodoshima island, famous for its olives, is my local hometown. Here, I carefully craft my 3D-monkey figures to capture innocent moments of playful child monkeys. Throughout this ongoing series, I reveal the unique expressions and postures of each monkey, mirroring human-like behavior that continues to intrigue. The bond between monkeys and humans grows stronger! The crowning touch? These endearing creatures transform into elegant pendants when worn as a necklace, with the monkey's tail wrapped delicately around it.
