Selected Works have chosen me, a humble craftsman, for the Most prestigious and historic Japan Jewellery Award 2015 (JJA2015). My life's work is on full display, and it has truly come into its own with "Tawamure of Inishie", the masterful piece that took top honors. Within my studio, the 3D-monkey figures, each one a marvel of precision-crafted beauty, are finally ready for public eyes. One look at the island paradise of Shodoshima, known for its olives in Kagawa province, is all it takes to envision these playful little primates at work and at play. This is more than just art - this is an anthropomorphic monkey's attempt to get closer to us. The pendants are designed to hold your cherished necklaces close by their delicate tails, bringing the essence of our relationship to you.
