"The Whimsy of Inishie" showcases my masterpiece, selected for the Japan Jewellery Award 2015, which recognizes excellence in craftsmanship and artistry. As a part of my Monkeys series, this piece took 366 days to complete using CAD software, exemplifying the intricacy and attention to detail that define my work. Shodoshima Island, renowned for its olive groves, serves as my creative sanctuary. In these serene surroundings, even children playing innocently take on an air of elegance. The culmination of this series features my 3D Monkeys in various poses, inviting the viewer to contemplate their human-like characteristics. With "Quruli" transforming into a pendant and wearing it as a necklace around her tail, we see a monkey remarkably close to human nature.
