The ZSU-23-4 "Shilka" is a Soviet self-propelled anti-aircraft gun, with serial production beginning in 1964. Equipped with a quad automatic 23mm cannon, this system unleashes an incredible 3400 rounds per minute. It can aim manually, semi-automatically, or automatically at targets. In auto and semi-auto modes, a standard radar station is used to lock onto the target. Designed for direct ground force support, the ZSU-23-4 Shilka takes down air targets up to 2500 meters away and at altitudes of 1500 meters, flying at speeds of 450 m/s. It also engages ground targets within a 2000-meter radius from a stationary or moving position. In the USSR, it played a crucial role in the air defense units of the ground forces' regimental level.
