This model of a mug is crafted by using 3ds Max. It exists in an 'editable poly' form with the 'mesh smooth' modifier already applied. The handle and decorations are separate elements, which can be removed from the 'element' sub-object level - this has been done and included in the main zip file. By lowering the render iterations value (currently set at 2), it can be rendered as a low-poly object. I recommend removing the stars and curves for making the mug simpler. The preview images were rendered with simple materials just to make them look good. A multi/sub-object material can be applied easily, where the body and handle have a material ID of 1 and the decorations have a material ID of 2.
