I design and fabricate a series of pre-assembled 3D printed contructors for educational purposes, utilizing the Fusion 360 program to model each component. The printing material chosen is white PLA due to its desirable properties: Low shrinkage ensures precise fitting between parts without the need for assembly aids. Excellent adhesion allows the printer to stand upright and print with a small raft, minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency. Safe to handle, even in disassembled form. The benefits of 3D printed contructors are numerous: Their low-cost price makes them an accessible tool for educational institutions. Users can select from various scales to suit their needs. The printing and assembly process is engaging and fascinating, fostering hands-on learning. The cannon consists of eight interlocking parts that can be assembled with or without glue. Disassembly is recommended before painting details to prevent damage. I utilized the Anet A8 Desktop 3D Printer Prusa i3 DIY Kit for this project, which can be sourced through the provided link (https://goo.gl/XRZlCO).
