The 3D model of the Akkerman Fortress is a remarkable representation of the historical fortress located in Belgorod-Dnistrovskyi, Ukraine. The model is based on an extensive scanning project conducted on the fortress's territory, covering an impressive size of 20 hectares. The purpose of the project is to reconstruct the ancient city of Tyras in 3D, which was destroyed three thousand years ago. The data for the model was collected through the acquisition of over 10,000 photographs and more than 50 laser scans, which were carried out over a span of two days.
