Hinged lamp connects small 12v led strip to printer power supply directly. Hidden cables keep everything neat and organized. The metal "head" should be made from aluminum or another heat-dissipating material for safety reasons. Ensure joints and welds of conductive materials are well-insulated. A drill press is used to create two holes, 3mm in diameter, through the "head" to accommodate screws that pass from side to side. A recess is also created along the edge to facilitate cable passage. Insert the "head" into its corresponding piece and use a marker to mark the areas where work will be done. Then disassemble and proceed with drilling. A stable base piece is attached to a heavy element or fixed location, providing necessary support for the assembly. A small switch can be added to this base, using a switch box that cuts both poles (positive and negative). This switch box is slightly larger than the one included with PC power supplies, which only cut one pole (positive or negative). Before starting the print job, double-check your measurements to ensure everything fits properly.
